Here’s a tip ➝

As much as I would love for you to go through every single detail of my projects, I also understand you might have just a few minutes available. Don’t worry! You can read just what’s written in bold, and you’ll still have a quick view of my work.

Emirates NBD Bank, the “Middle East transformation”

Emirates NBD, the largest and most important bank of the Middle East, is going through a digital transformation that includes mobile banking app, online banking, CRM, core banking and ATMs. A complete restyle! They’re increasing the security while also improving the overall user and service experience.

The project cannot be shared just yet, but I’d be happy to walk you through it if you’re interested.

Instantly! A fully digital account opening with NFC

Instantly! is a digital account that allows people to use their digital ID and NFC device to onboard and to get a virtual limited account anywhere, at anytime. What does limited mean? Virtual account + money top-up + send money + pay with Apple Pay and done!

This was my ENBD-joining task, it now became an existing functionality.
Here you can find both the concept and the journey.

The creation of the Design System right from ground zero

Boubyan Bank is one of the emerging banks in Kuwait and GCC, benefiting from its relation with National Bank of Kuwait, the major shareholder, which is ranked among the largest 300 banks worldwide.

Boubyan Bank decided to harmonize the product across the different channels & platforms, and to speed up the design delivery they wanted to create a Design System.

Seven countries, one bank: the new mobile banking app

UniCredit is the second-largest bank in Italy, it serves more than 16 million customers in its three domestic markets (Italy, Germany and Austria), twelve Central and Eastern European countries and the three Baltic countries.

Together with other four designers, and working closely with the business and IT teams, we redefined the entire mobile banking app experience for seven Eastern European countries.

One challenge, different ways, one goal: digital transformation

Nexi now is the foremost digital payment service provider in Italy that offers services and infrastructures for banks, companies, institutions and public administration.

Working side by side with a UX designer, and a project manager, we helped Nexi to completely reinvent itself through a design-oriented methodology.

Hello bank! The first digital bank in Italy

BNL, of BNP Paribas, back in 2012 had the revolutionizing vision of creating the first digital bank in Italy.

The design team was composed by two Senior UX designers, one art director, and me as a UI designer. We worked together with the stakeholders to set the base of a trend that was then followed by other banks in the country.

Printagram, first portable printer. Failed project

Printagram, should have been the first portable printer to attach to your smartphone. Small, light and easy to carry anywhere. Born as an idea in 2013 while having a drink in a bar with a couple of friends: Andrea Lehner - Marketing and Riccardo Arciulo - Electrical Engineer.

We got excited about it, we created a functioning product and reached out to a possible investor: Kodak. The, and only then, we discovered that they already had the patent for this type of printer. Our dream stopped right there. We still had a lot of fun, but most of all we’ve learned a lesson.

This was the important work
